| KQED and National Public Radio |
| In our history of support for these highly-respected public
broadcasting organizations, Rowbotham & Company is always
pleased to help underwrite quality nonprofit programming. Rowbotham provides yearly financial and volunteer support to the pledge drives of KQED and its radio affiliate, National Public Radio (NPR). On June 4, our firm was excited to join in a special pledge night for KQED's presentation of the "Doo Wop returns!" and "R&B: A Soul Spectacular". Each year the Rowbotham staff answered phones and took pledges along side our fellow volunteers from The World Affairs Council of Northern California. With the help of our challenge grant and the dedication of our staff volunteers, KQED has been able to raise substantial funds over the past several years. Russian National Orchestra Rowbotham has been associated with this renowned orchestra for two years. The firm provides in-kind support in the form of tax planning, tax return preparation, and consulting services pertaining to the orchestra's U.S. touring program. |
| The Family Giving Tree: Annual Christmas Toy Drive | |||
|
Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. It is not just about shopping, decorating, and celebrating, but it is also the season to give and to remember those who are less fortunate. Lots of under privileged children don't get much during the holiday and don't have a reason to be joyful during the Christmas season. Rowbotham and Company participated in the toy drive sponsored by the Family Giving Tree. We fulfilled every children's wish on our sponsored tree. |
